How much does getting your windows professionally cleaned cost?

That really depends, industry average standard window cleaning only will cost anywhere between 7 to 15 dollars per pane, inside and out. We operate on the lower end of this range since we think everyone deserves clean windows. Other factors include pane size (doors, skylights, gallery glass), mineralization, reach/access, method, inside vs outside only, and add on services etc. We provide flexible service selections so you only have to pay for what you need! The longer you go between cleanings, the more it will cost since more time will be required to complete the service.

Should I get my screens and tracks cleaned?

We think so, clean screens don't just look better; they act as a filter for your home. Removing buildup allows for better airflow and prevents wind and rain from splashing old dirt back onto your freshly cleaned glass. Window tracks are often overlooked until they seize up. Regular cleaning prevents permanent corrosion and ensures your windows glide open with a single finger—preserving the 'luxury' of fresh air.

Can I just Windex my windows?

Of course! While the results may not be the same as getting your windows professionally cleaned, Windex contains ammonia-based formulation which helps break down fingerprints and grime. Your arms may be sore the next day and the glass may have ammonia streaks when the light hits the glass, it certainly won't look any worse than before. As professional window experts, many clients hire us due to the risk of reaching high windows, time value/opportunity cost factors, health limitations, or simply wanting peace of mind and perfectly clear glass!

How do I remove hard water stains from my window?

Hard water stains are caused by mineralization that is typically alkaline by nature. There are 3 stages to hard water stains, 1 being light surface, 2 being the beginning of mineral etching, and 3 being permanent. The severity of the mineralization will determine the best method. Most hard water damage we see are stage 1 and 2 which requires physical agitation and removal (elbow grease with diamond infused abrasives, quad zero steel wool, razor blades), and reagent methods using chemistry to disable the high Ph (alkaline) deposits. Products like CLR can work for DIY on a budget, but due to potential hazards and accidental damages, we recommend hiring professionals. Stage 3 requires resurfacing or replacement since the glass is pitted and the damage is now permanent.

While we'd be happy to help you with other home care projects, we like staying within our core competency. We believe when the services offered are too broad, it's more challenging to be great at it. Plus we prefer to let others who are good at those jobs do them so your home can be best cared for.

We like to give back to the community. Oftentimes, public services are on a tighter budget and we want to support our community when we can. Because of that, we don't want budget to be an issue - we think paying it forward is a good way to run a business. Please inquire and we'd love to see what we can work out.
